We had a wonderful visit at Alice's. We went to Galveston for dinner and a walk on the beach looking for a sand dollar for Charles' granddaughter. There was none to be found, but be had a good time. Then we checked out the carvings around Galveston made from tree stumps left from the Hurricane, Ike. That night we played a game of Dominoes. The boys won, but we girls came in at a close second. The next morning we had a big breakfast: biscuits, gravey, eggs, and sausage. Later Scott and Meme came over for lunch. It was great visiting with them. That afternoon we left so Alice and Charles could attend Charles' 50th Class Reunion.
