Millie sent us a copy of a news article about us that appeared in the Wickenburg Sun on March 28, 2007 after we had already left the area. I really don't want to retype the entire article,but I will summarize it. Patti James (staff writer) tells about Willard's love for gold prospecting and his searching for the "mother lode" around historical Stanton, AZ, but doesn't make a "job" out of it. She described how we met in highschool, married, had our children, then began our college education about 10 years later. She mentioned that Jean was the Queen Mum of the Stanton Red Hat Goldminers.
